1) Type Revenue and Occupancy Enhancement – This panel has been enhanced to with speed improvements and the 93 date range restriction has now been extended to 366 days.

2. Push Notification – We will now be also utilizing Push Notification to alert our users of any updates and emergency notifications. Users will need to allow these notifications on their computer to be able to receive them

3) Billing Policies – 

a) Reservation Reminder – When a reservation is modified that has a billing policy assigned to it, a warning message is displayed to remind the user to update the billing policy if necessary.   T

b) Setup Button Available – The Setup button to quickly jump to the assigned billing policy is now also available after the reservation has been checked out.   This will allow a user to easily update the billing policy once the reservation is completed if adjustment is required

c) New Date Filters – A new date filter has been added to the Process Billing Policies and the Batch Review panels.  The default filter Create Time On or Before will display all outstanding billing policies up to the last calendar.   This will help remedy the scenario where past billing policies are not completed or some are overlooked.

4) License Plate Search – This search field has now be altered to search based on an alpha numeric value, thus ignoring any spaces or dashes that may have been entered on the reservation field.  This should make locating a client/reservation by this process easier

5) Waiting List Enhancements –

a) Confirmation Number – This has been broken out into 2 fields which is based on whether the filter is set to Waiting List or Quote, the prefix of the confirmation number is automatically entered.   When the confirmation number is entered it will automatically set to upper case and pressing enter will update the list

 

 

b) Warning List Color – If the client has a Warning List comment assigned to them, their name will be highlighted to indicate such.

c) Comments entered when the Wating List is created will be entered into the reservation comments when that Waiting List is converted into a reservation.

d) If the Waiting List is edited, the previous comments are pre-populated as compared to before when the previous comments are lost if it is edited and recreated.

6) Enable Security Deposits – There is now a preference to enable if the business will be utilizing the security deposit capability,    This preference is located within the Business Setup.  This can be reached by going to Setup=>Business Setup=> 1. Business Info => Preferences tab.

Note: A reservation with a security deposit balance can not be selected to be checked out, since that security deposit has to be settled first

POS Activity Panel Adjustment – The results will no longer auto-populate when the dates are adjusted.  This results will only be returned for the dates when the refresh button is clicked.  The is to cut-down on unwanted date ranges which could cause a long load due to large results

1) Waiting List –  Users now have the ability to create a Waiting List for clients who wish to make a reservation with no requested inventory available. Only a client and the reservation date are required to create a waiting list. This is done from the Booking Quote screen using the Submit button located to the top right of the grid. A waiting list does not take any inventory.

Note: This is still in the testing phase.  Please contact DigitalRez if you wish to utilize this capability. There is NO additional charge for this feature.

Once the Waiting List is created, a user can review all the waiting lists that were created by clicking the Utilities button to the top of the grid and selecting the Go button for Check Waiting List.  This will provide the panel to review any created Waiting Lists. A waiting list can be selected and then click the select button to convert into a reservation.

2) Refresh Button – This button will Refresh the Grid and reload it to 3 days prior to today’s date.
The Now button has been reverted to redirect the grid to start from today’s date.

3) Online Marketing Type – The Marketing Type (How Did You Hear about us) is now available for online reservations.  A user can set if they wish to have the customers indicate online how they heard about them or utilize if for other selective marketing purposes. The label associated with this feature can also be edited.

4) Marketing Opt-in preference – Users can now enable to have customer’s opt-in for marketing purposes by selecting that they wish to opt-in based on the editable text entered.

Export Data – A list of the clients that have opted in for the Marketing is available to be exported from within the system.

5) Push Notification – DigitalRez will now be utilizing a push notification capability to keep all users up-to-date with features, updates and maintenance scenarios. These notifications once allowed by the user on their computer, phone, tablet, etc can be notified directly through this service.

 

 

6) RSS Feed Newsletters – This field has now been relocated to the bottom of the grid.

7)  Vehicle Attributes in Export – The vehicle attributes has been added to the export data being available from the Arrivals and Departure panel.

8)  Include Security Deposits Online – A new preference is available in the security deposit setup section.  Once enabled this will add the security deposit to the deposit owed online to be paid when the customer is making the reservation online.

9)  Hide online PDF Confirmation – This preference will hide this report from online customers when they make a reservation online.

10) Display Warning List Description in Guest Folio – When a client has a warning list attributed to them, a new field becomes available within the Guest Folio of that reservation to indicate such. The client’s name is also highlighted in the Till Tape. The Warning List description can then be viewed by clicking on the View Warning List Description hyperlink.

11) Display Warning List for Online Reservations from Grid – This preference will allow the warning list to pop up for online reservations when clicked on from the grid and also when the guest folio is opened.   A check box is available to the bottom of the dialog box to stop it from popping up again.

12)  Warning list Client Highlighted – The Client’s Name is highlighted in the Arrivals/Departure panel when a client has a warning list comment assigned to them.

13) Editable Group Email Summary Detail – Users are now able to edit some of the detail provided in the group email being sent to clients from within the system label manager  e.g provide the site number for groups.

14) Cutoff Filter for Payment Audit Panel – Users are now able to filter the payments being brought back in the payment audit panel based on the cut-off number inserted.

15) Date Format on Rules now indicate the Day of the week.

16) Timer has been added to the session Dialog box – Operators will be able to see the time remaining before their session expires.

17) Unit Type Date Navigation –  Additional navigation in the Unit Type calendar has been added. A << and >> which bounces to the min date and max date along with a T which redirects to today’s date.

18) Unit Deletion Dialog – When a unit is attempted to be deleted or closed and there is a pencil in or reservation still assigned to that unit, a dialog will appear providing the user with the start date of the pencil in / reservation so that it can be managed according first.

New Menu Button Changes –

a)  The Grid button has been removed since it’s now located within each panel of the system

b)  Dashboard  – This new button will redirect users to the Dashboard page which provides a quick overview of the business with multiple statistics and charts

c)  Logout – A larger logout button is now provided to quickly log out of the system

New Navigation Menu
This new Menu option on every Panel within RezExpert allows users to quickly access all areas of the reservation system.   Based on the tab Selected (Main, Setup, Admin, Reports), users will be provided a list of the different links available to them to quickly access.
The Menu options that display are dependent on the employee’s Security Role/Level. For example: Front Desk Operator doesn’t have permission to access Setup, therefore the Setup tab will not display for those employees.

Grid Button Changes – The buttons have now been changed to represent icons.  This will provide users with a more graphical visual effect.

Check In/Out  Button displayed in Guest Folio – The Grid button within the Guest Folio has now been replaced with a Check In/ Check Out Button.   If the reservation is due to be Checked In , the Check In button will be displayed while the Check Out button will display when the reservation is due to be Checked Out.

2)  Add Date Range For Billing Policy Products – Users are now able to add a date range for products assigned to a billing policy.   This will allow users to have multiple products only due for a set time within the policy thus eliminating the need for multiple policies to be created to achieve the same goal.

3) Set Billing Cycle Start Date – Users can now set the date from which the cycle limit will start.   The Cycle Limit indicates how many times the policy can be run before it will stop billing.    With the start date in place, the system will provide how many cycles are remaining before the cycle ends.

4)  Remove a Charge – A “Del” button has been added to the Charge Change Dialog box to allow a user to quickly remove a charge when manually overriding a price.

5) Payment Express (DPS) – The $0 Payment option has been removed from the Payment Express DPS and just the Preauthorization is available.

6) Print Selector Suppression – A new option is now available for users that wish to stop the print selector from automatically loading each time a reservation is created or adjusted.   Once the option is selected, the print selector will only open when done manually or after a refresh of the page.

7) Group Level Comment – Users are now able to add a comment on the group level.

8) Online Booking Pages –

a) An “X” has been placed to the top right corner of the image dialog box to provide users with an alternate way to close the dialog

b) Read More – The Read More hyperlink becomes available for lengthy descriptions more than 500 characters.  This will provide an users with the ability to scroll through the description when it surpasses the allocated amount.

9)  List View changes – The dates and rates have been centered and additional details on the dates provided

10) Label Change – When a Reference # is added, this will then be appended to the label of the charge/payment.

11)  HTML Description Enhancements – Enhancements have been made to the description areas of the Unit Type Setup and Unit Setup panels to allow the use of HTML formatting.

13)  Auto Lock Pencil Ins – A new preference is available to automatically lock the pencil-ins to the unit selected.

15)  Flag as Storage (Memberships Only) – This ignores the selected Unit Type from the Membership Concurrent setting.  Once is a Unit Type is Flagged as Storage, concurrent reservations can be created associated with that Unit Type, no matter the Concurrent Use setting.

16)  Hover Text – This allows a user to add text to be displayed when the online rates are hovered over on the online booking interface

17)  Marketing Type – This can now be changed even if the reservation has been Checked In.

18)  Guest Folio POS – The Guest Folio Transfer payment type is automatically selected when Sale is selected from within a reservation to reduce the chances of a user mistakenly paying off the reservation as compared to transferring it to the reservation.

19) Row Select – The select column has been removed and the user is now able to click anywhere on the row to make the desired selection.  This is now available on the client search, batch review and Process Daily Charges areas.

20)  Online Wholesaler Reservations – Vehicle details are no longer required through the online booking interface if a Wholsesaler is logged in.

 

 

21)  Email Comment Handling – When an email is sent, it will no longer attach pre-existing comments from that reservation.  It will only provide the currently entered comment.

1)  Event Management – Users are now able to assign events to the business.   Once assigned they will become color-coded on the grid to indicate such.   When a reservation is made over that date range an alert is provided to indicate the event.    Users are also able to retrieve the selected view the list of assigned events across the grid

Event Types

 

There are two additional type of Event Types:

Restrict Online Access –  This is not displayed on the grid but will restrict online activity for reservation for the desired date range.   The user will also be able to edit the description associated with it.

Note :  This is only available to users utilizing the membership module.

 

Major Holiday Related – These events are color coded on the grid for internal use.

 

 

 

2)  Online Wholesaler/Travel Agent access-  Wholesalers/Travel Agents setup within the reservation system can now make reservations through the online service from the business website link and also view their reservation activity.   The grid provided for these types of businesses will default to the 2 Week View.   They also have the ability to view the Inventory availability count and make reservation.

3)  Online Activity Management – Users are now be able to manage access for their online booking interface for their customers, revenue share owners, clients with Account Receivable accounts.

1. This feature is only available to clients utilizing the Membership module.

2. If you are not utilizing memberships, the only setting that can be adjusted is the Show Rez Activity Online option which would prohibit customers from seeing their reservation activity.  Please contact DigitalRez to have this adjusted.

 

 

a)  Show AR Account Online – Once this feature is enabled, if a business or customer has an Account Receivable created, the business/customer can log into the online booking interface and view, print or pay for their account.   The payment capability is only available if a credit card processor is assigned to the online booking interface using one of our integrated processors.

b)  Show Owner Account Online –  Once this feature is enabled, owners of units will now be able to log into the online booking interface and view their Revenue Share account.   This allows the owner to view any charges and revenue share assigned to owned unit(s) over a desired date range.

c)  Show Owner Rez Activity Online – Once enabled, this feature allows an owner to log in and view all the checked out reservations assigned to his owned unit(s).

4)  Task/Notes Panel –  This panel will allow users a central location to access, view and edit notes and tasks assigned to units, clients or employees for desired date range.

5)  Wholesaler Discount – Wholesalers can now be assigned a default discount.   This will allow a set pricing to be made and different discounts applicable to different wholesalers.

6)  No more that 366 Days Quotes – Users are no longer able to generate a quote for more than a year (366 days) from the Booking Quote screen.   If a user wishes to have a reservation longer than a year, this would need to be extended from within the guest folio of the reservation.   The user would submit the reservation from the booking quote screen which would then go to the Guest folio, where it can then be extended to the appropriate date

7)  Force Daily Charges Log – When a user activates/disables the Force Daily Charges feature a log event is applied to the history of the reservation.

Export Preset – Users will be able to create and save presets for their exports.   This allows user to retrieve a pre-selected list of data to generate quick reports or exports.   Within the Column Editor, users can set the sort order number of the columns and which columns are provided.   This will allow users to be able to generate their custom data reports very easily.   By clicking on the preview button, the user would then be able to print the report from the listed data.

Breakout of Occupants on the Guest List – When reviewing the Guest List data from the grid, the breakout of the count of each occupant type for the reservations within the date range selected will be provided to the bottom of the Guest List slider

Multiple Discounts – Users are now able to assign multiple discounts to a reservation.  This is done from within the Edit Charges dialog screen.  Once the reservation is tentative, the user can click on the Change hyperlink to edit the charges.

Force Daily Rates –  This option allows a user to break out all the charges on a reservation into daily rates no matter the length of the reservation.  The reservation is recalculated with only daily rates based on the daily rate setup.  This feature allows the user to either override individual days on the reservation and/or apply discounts to specific date(s) on the reservation.

Online Map Zoom capability – Mobile users will be able to zoom in and out from their device for the Map based online booking interface

 

Online List View – A new online view is now available for the online booking interface.   This will provide users with a large image based interface allowing for a description and short term rates.  This provides additional options for the default interface for customers

Auto Assign Unit on the Grid Preference – This feature will now also allow the Booking Quote screen to auto-assign units to unassigned reservations.  When using the Submit button to the top right of the grid, this pulls up the booking quote screen.  If any additional units are added without assigning a unit, when the user submits the booking quote, these bookings will be automatically assigned to units.

Group Reservation Invoice Grouping – Changes have been introduced into the Charges/Payments tab of a Single Client/Single Account type Group Reservation.  The charges are now displayed under the Reservation # to help with easier identification of reservation and POS charges.

Online Policy descriptions –  Previously policies were displayed in a pop up prior to being able to make a online reservation.   These policies are now displayed within a panel to improve the maneuverability of mobile users viewing and accepting these policies.

Recalc Button –  This feature will provide users with a button on the Guest Folio which will allow a user to recalculate the reservation.  This button would reverse the current reservation charge and recalculate like a fresh reservation.

Sell Products Online –  Users are now able to create products which are assigned to the online booking interface. This will allow customers to select if the wish to add any additional amenities to their reservation.  The product and quantity allowed will be able to be configured from within the reservation system

View/Print Digitalrez Invoices/Receipts – Users are now able to click on the invoice number to view/print the invoice and receipt.

New Token Access Areas (only supported processors)  – The ability to use the token is now available in the POS and the Account Manager screen.   Tokens are stored with the client any token stored previously will be available to be used to process the client’s credit card which is associated with the token.

Decommission Flag  – A new flag has been added to Unit Type Setup (Business Setup > 7. Unit Types > Units > Features).  When a Unit Type or individual Unit(s) have been “Closed”, enabling the Decommissioned flag will remove the Unit Type/unit from inventory and Grid interfaces (Booking Quote screen).

1)  Dynamic Pricing – The ability to have your rates adjusted based on occupancy is now available.   Users will be able to set multiple configurations for their rate adjustments based on the percentage occupancy on each given day.  Once this is enabled, only daily rates will be applicable.   Users can highlight the date range where the adjustments are applicable.

2)  Shift 4 Version2 Changes –  Users are now able to set the accepted payment types for the their processor and also enter the cardholder’s name on the credit card form.     The payment types are entered by the codes that represent the payment type.  These would be entered with a comma to separate the accepted payment types.

3)  Pay DigitalRez (Stage 1)- Users will soon be able to make payments directly through the reservation system regarding their SaaS bill and/or for the Online Reservation Commission.   This will be available from within the Account page.   Users will be able to view their statement and make the payment towards the account(s).    Their SaaS bill and/or the Online Reservation commissions.

 

Currently users can only view the charges on the account but in Stage 2, the ability to pay directly to the account will be available

4)  Group Level Assignment – Users are now able to update the Alert and Marketing type on the group level.  Once its applied on the group level, the selection will be applied to all reservations within the group that confirmed/checked-in status.

5)  Set default client Image – If a client has multiple images assigned to them, the default image can now be set.   The default image is applied to the wild card used in the emails

6)   Wholesaler Reservations changes – Multiple changes are now available for wholesaler reservations.  These include:

a) Users are now able to add/remove reservations from a wholesaler reservation.

 

b) A client is not required on the reservation level in order to create the wholesaler reservation.

 

c) Wholesaler reservations can be cancelled once a payment is not on the reservation or the deposit was reversed.

 

 

 

 

7)  Accounts Receivable  invoices –  Invoices from within the Account manager will no longer display that the amount was settled to AR thus giving a zero balance on the invoice.

8)  Custom Fields Wildcards – Once a custom field has been created, a wild card will become available to be added to an email or custom reservation report.

9)  15 minute Online Grace Period –  The fifteen(15) minute grace period to edit an online reservation on the grid will no longer be applicable for businesses that have no credit card processor assigned.   Thus the online reservations can be edited immediately without having to wait fifteen (15) minutes.

 

 

 

 

10) Segment Drop Down – The Unit Type grid now provides the user the capability to display the available inventory for each created segment.

11)  Card holder name on 3.5inch receipt – Once a card holder name is available on from the processor, the card holder’s name will be displayed on the 3″ Recept.
