 Maintenance Resource Module – Reduce your operational costs with our RezExpert preventative Maintenance Resource module. Assign and track maintenance service schedules in real time and view comprehensive reports in a mobile friendly interface. Track complete history of maintenance tasks performed and print reports in real time.   This module allows tasks to be assigned to employees for the maintenance of multiple processes, create pre-determined questions based on the step by step review of a resource.  Documents, Images, etc. can be uploaded on-site to provide a real-time management of any resource whether it’s at the office location assigned to a unit or offsite in a another region without being attached to any created unit.

Split Reservation (Cash Accounting Businesses Only)- Charge Transfer Business Module has been added. Once this is turned on, when splitting a reservation there is additional functionality that will allow someone to move charges that have not had any part of it paid off over to the second half of the split reservation. This is only available for cash based businesses.

Assign Custom Fields to Specific Member Types (Memberships Module Only) – Users with the membership module have the ability now to create custom fields specific to membership types.   This will be applicable to both Client and Reservation custom fields.  Where creating the Custom Field, the membership type which is applicable can then be assigned. This custom field with only show in the guest folio when the reservation is assigned to a client with that membership type.

 

 

 

Client Relationship Module – This module will allow users to assign a relationship(s) between created clients in the system.  Once a relationship is assigned, it will allows users to quickly assign related clients to the reservations from a list, outlining the type of relationship.

This would be ideal for Kennels/Catteries.    Please contact Tech Support for additional information and documentation.

 

 

 

Assign Owner Revenue Share through Night Audit (Accrual Businesses Only) – The ability to assign revenue share to an owner through the accrual night audit process is now available.   This apply the daily revenue share amount to the owner based on what has gone through the night audit process.   This setting is applied from within the policy of the contract assigned of the owner’s contract.

 

 

Guest Folio Client Image Link – A expandable hyperlink is now available in the Rez Details of the Guest Folio which will display the client’s default image once any have been assigned.   Once the hyperlink is clicked, the field will expand to display the client’s image and if clicked again, it would collapse.

 

 

Marketing Emails Breakout – Users are now able to create Marketing emails based on the type of reservation (Single, Group, Wholesaler, Travel Agent, Corporate).  The marketing email will now be specific to that reservation type.

 

 

Inventory Type Drop Down – The Down To the Minute checkbox has now removed and will display a drop down to allow users to better manage their creation of their Unit Types.   This will only become visible when more than one Inventory Type is available.  Regular is the default inventory type for units which are displayed on a daily basis and Down To The Minute is inventory which can be broken down into multiples of 15, 30 and 60 minute time intervals.

1)  Deposit Liability Export – The ability to retrieve the check in date from the Deposit Liability area of the Account Review / Aging panel is now available.   Users would be able to export the data from the panel.

The Contact client name will now be able to sorted from within the export

 

 

 

 

2) Confirmation Report Change – Once a client has entered a vehicle licence plate, this information will be appended onto the vehicle type on the Confirmation Letter report.

 

 

 

 

3)  Accrual Business Reservation Handling: Since accrual businesses are applied on a daily basis through Night Audit, when a reservation is checked in, the Rate Group, Discount and Recalc button will be disabled.    This will prohibit the reservation from being recalculated as accrual business night charges are locked in place as they go through Night Audit.

Note:  Accrual reservations upcoming nightly charges can be easily edited if necessary by clicking View next to the reservation invoice, then click Review and edit the charges in bulk or individually

 

 

 

4)  Restrict Reservations for Suspended (Membership module only) –   By assigning a client’s membership status to suspended, that user will not be able to make any new reservations online.   A notification when making making a reservation on the console will also be provided to notify of client status.

 

 

 

 

5)  Reservation Manager panel export – The Is_Comment Field has been hidden in the export of the Reservation Manager panel

 

 

Report Fix:  The Online Booking Pages:PDF confirmation report is now only showing the unit number in the report when the preference “Reservation Services Page – Display Unit Number” is enabled.

Bug Fix – A more user friendly message is now being displayed when a pencil-in fails to create.

1) Type Revenue and Occupancy Enhancement – This panel has been enhanced to with speed improvements and the 93 date range restriction has now been extended to 366 days.

2. Push Notification – We will now be also utilizing Push Notification to alert our users of any updates and emergency notifications. Users will need to allow these notifications on their computer to be able to receive them

Note:  If you wish to receive the notifications on any other device, just log into the reservation system using this device and Allow the notification.   Alternatively, it can be manually added to your browser settings but adding https://rezexpert-7.pushexpert.com as an exception in your Notification exception section.

3) Billing Policies – 

a) Reservation Reminder – When a reservation is modified that has a billing policy assigned to it, a warning message is displayed to remind the user to update the billing policy if necessary.   T

b) Setup Button Available – The Setup button to quickly jump to the assigned billing policy is now also available after the reservation has been checked out.   This will allow a user to easily update the billing policy once the reservation is completed if adjustment is required

c) New Date Filters – A new date filter has been added to the Process Billing Policies and the Batch Review panels.  The default filter Create Time On or Before will display all outstanding billing policies up to the last calendar.   This will help remedy the scenario where past billing policies are not completed or some are overlooked.

4) License Plate Search – This search field has now be altered to search based on an alpha numeric value, thus ignoring any spaces or dashes that may have been entered on the reservation field.  This should make locating a client/reservation by this process easier

5) Waiting List Enhancements –

a) Confirmation Number – This has been broken out into 2 fields which is based on whether the filter is set to Waiting List or Quote, the prefix of the confirmation number is automatically entered.   When the confirmation number is entered it will automatically set to upper case and pressing enter will update the list

 

 

b) Warning List Color – If the client has a Warning List comment assigned to them, their name will be highlighted to indicate such.

c) Comments entered when the Wating List is created will be entered into the reservation comments when that Waiting List is converted into a reservation.

d) If the Waiting List is edited, the previous comments are pre-populated as compared to before when the previous comments are lost if it is edited and recreated.

6) Enable Security Deposits – There is now a preference to enable if the business will be utilizing the security deposit capability,    This preference is located within the Business Setup.  This can be reached by going to Setup=>Business Setup=> 1. Business Info => Preferences tab.

The Bulk Check-Out Process will also show an additional column for Security Deposit Balance

Note: A reservation with a security deposit balance can not be selected to be checked out, since that security deposit has to be settled first

POS Activity Panel Adjustment – The results will no longer auto-populate when the dates are adjusted.  This results will only be returned for the dates when the refresh button is clicked.  The is to cut-down on unwanted date ranges which could cause a long load due to large results

Select All option – An option to select all Unit Types has been added to the Events Setup

New Report Text Options – New report text options have been added for the subsequent reports –

Update Bulletin: Aug 17th 2016 Waiting List Available – Read Now!

1) Waiting List –  Users now have the ability to create a Waiting List for clients who wish to make a reservation with no requested inventory available. Only a client and the reservation date are required to create a waiting list. This is done from the Booking Quote screen using the Submit button located to the top right of the grid. A waiting list does not take any inventory.

Note: This is still in the testing phase.  Please contact DigitalRez if you wish to utilize this capability. There is NO additional charge for this feature.

Once the Waiting List is created, a user can review all the waiting lists that were created by clicking the Utilities button to the top of the grid and selecting the Go button for Check Waiting List.  This will provide the panel to review any created Waiting Lists. A waiting list can be selected and then click the select button to convert into a reservation.

2) Refresh Button – This button will Refresh the Grid and reload it to 3 days prior to today’s date.
The Now button has been reverted to redirect the grid to start from today’s date.

3) Online Marketing Type – The Marketing Type (How Did You Hear about us) is now available for online reservations.  A user can set if they wish to have the customers indicate online how they heard about them or utilize if for other selective marketing purposes. The label associated with this feature can also be edited.

4) Marketing Opt-in preference – Users can now enable to have customer’s opt-in for marketing purposes by selecting that they wish to opt-in based on the editable text entered.

Export Data – A list of the clients that have opted in for the Marketing is available to be exported from within the system.

5) Push Notification – DigitalRez will now be utilizing a push notification capability to keep all users up-to-date with features, updates and maintenance scenarios. These notifications once allowed by the user on their computer, phone, tablet, etc can be notified directly through this service.

 

 

6) RSS Feed Newsletters – This field has now been relocated to the bottom of the grid.

7)  Vehicle Attributes in Export – The vehicle attributes has been added to the export data being available from the Arrivals and Departure panel.

8)  Include Security Deposits Online – A new preference is available in the security deposit setup section.  Once enabled this will add the security deposit to the deposit owed online to be paid when the customer is making the reservation online.

9)  Hide online PDF Confirmation – This preference will hide this report from online customers when they make a reservation online.

10) Display Warning List Description in Guest Folio – When a client has a warning list attributed to them, a new field becomes available within the Guest Folio of that reservation to indicate such. The client’s name is also highlighted in the Till Tape. The Warning List description can then be viewed by clicking on the View Warning List Description hyperlink.

11) Display Warning List for Online Reservations from Grid – This preference will allow the warning list to pop up for online reservations when clicked on from the grid and also when the guest folio is opened.   A check box is available to the bottom of the dialog box to stop it from popping up again.

12)  Warning list Client Highlighted – The Client’s Name is highlighted in the Arrivals/Departure panel when a client has a warning list comment assigned to them.

13) Editable Group Email Summary Detail – Users are now able to edit some of the detail provided in the group email being sent to clients from within the system label manager  e.g provide the site number for groups.

Note:  There is a 400 character limit.

14) Cutoff Filter for Payment Audit Panel – Users are now able to filter the payments being brought back in the payment audit panel based on the cut-off number inserted.

15) Date Format on Rules now indicate the Day of the week.

16) Timer has been added to the session Dialog box – Operators will be able to see the time remaining before their session expires.

17) Unit Type Date Navigation –  Additional navigation in the Unit Type calendar has been added. A << and >> which bounces to the min date and max date along with a T which redirects to today’s date.

18) Unit Deletion Dialog – When a unit is attempted to be deleted or closed and there is a pencil in or reservation still assigned to that unit, a dialog will appear providing the user with the start date of the pencil in / reservation so that it can be managed according first.

Fix for Cancellation email comments – This fix will provide another comments field box when sending an email cancellations which would be displayed on the users email.

Note: The comments entered in the cancellation screen will only be listed in the client’s comments unless specifically assigned to the email.
