Mobile – New online mobile interfaces are now here for RezExpert.  Have your mobile friendly interface available for all clients accessing the RezExpert system through a mobile device.   The system will automatically detect that the user is logging in on a mobile device and redirect to the mobile friendly interface.    Users when on the mobile interface will be given an option to call the business from the device.

 

 

 

Theme Setup – The wording has been changed from “RezRobot Settings” to “Online Booking Page”.

 

Customer Relation Management –  Once a client has been created in the system, an online account is also automatically available for this client.  The feature provides the ability to communicate between client and business through the Tasks/Notes system.  These messages are not linked to any specific reservation but just a portal for communication.  This is linked to the Tasks/Notes module within the system.  This is now tied into the “Send Message” ability from the online mobile admin page. You can now receive/send messages to a client via email. The Tasks & Notes and Accept Messages from Client within the Online tab options at the business level must be turned on for this functionality to be enabled.

Quickbooks Online Export: The ability to export a QuickBooks Online Journal Entry is now available.

 

New Report Feature: Security deposit owed amount is being added to the guest folio balance statements now, along with a balance due row that displays the grand total owed.

 

New Report Feature: Configured security deposit policies with products assigned to the security deposit product group are now listing in the report named Departure Report with Bonds – By Client Name in profile.

 

Province / State – Data Validation – When the new Business level “State / Province Drop Down” Business Group Setting is turned on all of the interfaces allowing clients to edit the Province/State field will switch between a drop down and a free form text box. If it is a country where our database has a set lookup table of provinces & states such as Canada, US and Australia it should be a drop down, where if it is a country we don’t have a lookup table it will be a free form text box. Panels: Client Editor, Guest Folio, Rez Quote, Online Booking Pages (Mobile & Non-Mobile).

 

New Email Wildcard: Confirmation Emails now have a new wildcard called Security_Deposit_Due available.

 

Zip / Postal – Data Validation – When the new Business level “Zip / Postal Validation” Business Group Settings is turned on all of the interfaces allowing clients to edit the Zip/Postal field will require valid Zip or Postal code from US, Canada, AUS & New Zealand.

 

Phone Number – Data Validation – When the new Business level “Phone Validation” Business Group Setting is turned on all of the interfaces allowing clients to enter phone #’s will require the Australian phone #’s to match the format put forth by NSW.

 

Reverse Deposit Conversion – The system previously used to default to the first payment type in the list.  This process will no longer pre-select a payment type but users will be required to select one.

 

Online Business Reservations – Businesses Clients (Logged in as Wholesaler, Travel Agency or Corporation) can now add a Secondary client to an online reservation. Both Mobile & Non-Mobile versions accommodate this capability.

Note: The Alternate Confirmation number is required when making a booking through this process

 

Marketing Statistics panel – Ability to compare data between two years has been added.

 

App Management – Manage your personal branded app directly from within the reservation system

 

Client Search – Mobile Phone has been added to the export fields from this dialog.

Session Reset – The system will no longer require the user to log out and log back in again when specific preferences are updated from the Business Setup area.

 

Online Mobile – Purchase Products / Services has been added to both Mobile & Non Mobile.

 

Online Check In/Out  –  Users can now set a preference to allow customers to Check In and/or Check Out their reservation through the online booking interface for customers.   This preference can be enabled from within the Online Settings area of the Business Information section.   This capability is available in both Mobile & Non Mobile interfaces.

Note:  Customers with an outstanding deposit due will not be able to Check In and those with an outstanding balance will not be able to check out

Wholesalers Transfer Invoices – Users now have the flexibility to move ALL invoices to the group level. There is a Trf All at the footer of the charges table within the Guest Folio now.

 

Guest Folio – A red asterisk (*) has been added to forced fields. This has been added to the Client fields/custom fields and the rez custom fields only.

Tasks/Notes – An “Export” button has been added to the Client Task/Note List panel as well as the single client dialog.

New Feature: Users will now be able to email a POS email to customers once a email address is available for the customer assigned to the POS

Report Conversions to HTML: The following reports have been converted to HTML format

1)Corporate Statement

2) Wholesaler Statement

3) Travel Agent Confirmations and Travel Agent Statement

 

Default Images For Emails –  System Label Manager now has the option to add the Unit and Unit Type default images file URL to the content.

New Feature: The System Label Manager now has the option to add a background image to content. This button is located next to the Styles dropdown in CKeditor.

 

Client History Modification – The Client Reservation History dialog box has been modified to provide additional features and capabilities.  This is access by searching for the client from the Availability Grid and from the Selected Client slider (top right of the grid) click History.   Modifications include:

a) Nights column has been added.

b) Footer provides reservation count & nights count

c) Date range and search filters.

d) Converted to a row click event

 

Bug Fixes

Group payments will now allow reservations to be settled properly even if the overall balance of the group reservation is zero (0)

Once a unit is selected with a lower length than the Unit Type,  it is now validating to make sure the unit length is honored properly.

When adjusting a vehicle on an existing group reservation related to a person when there is no person at the reservation layer the system is crashing.

Cancelled group reservations being doubled in the Online Reservation Services page is fixed.

Member Code for Billing Policy Security Deposits in the Security Deposit section of the Account Review/Ageing panel is now showing.

Cancelled Events appearing highlighted on Grid Date range row is fixed

Guest List button should load only reservations assigned to the types that are within the view that is currently selected.  Default Views for unit and type grid still return all reservations.

Event Setup – A check for duplicate Event labels has been added when users edit an existing event and/or add a new one.

Report Bug Fix: Check In Form – Vehicle Pass – we are now displaying all charge detail instead of the invoice summary only.

Report Bug Fix: All check in related reports now look for the group level client if there is no reservation level client found.

Bug Fix: 3″ payment receipt – Erroneous data left over from uForms report disabling it from running from within the POS sale print selector.

Bug Fix: Accrual based businesses were disabling the Rez Custom Fields when the rez is checked in.  This has been fixed

Report Bug Fix: Group Statement now finds the security deposit owed and adds it to the guest folio balance at the end as a total balance due.

Bug Fix – SiteMinder – Rectified issue where Siteminder modifies a reservation after staff have adjusted

Bug Fix: Security Group Setup – System reports are not available to have permissions setup for them.

Bug Fix: Marketing email process will no longer send emails to the first reservation of a split reservation group

Bug Fix: When reversing a charge that has not been settled it was clearing the unapplied balances and not going through the till tape process. When saving this reservation down the road it is resetting the unapplied balances because of this. I have changed the till tape process when dealing with these reversals so it does insert till tape records recording this so on a future save it will set the unapplied balances correctly.

Bug Fix: Unit Type Image uploader, when setting the default file on an image that is assigned to the all types level should no longer reset all images across all businesses.

Report Bug Fix: Upcoming and Registered should display the accurate balance of each reservation now

Bug Fix: When deleting a map from the map setup any views assigned to the deleted map will be cancelled.

Upcoming Features

(1) Training Academy – A training academy for the RezExpert software will be coming soon.  Users will be able to take courses in regards to the use of the software and its capabilities.  It will provide a multitude of training materials (videos and help help documents) to assist with the training process.  Completion certificates can be achieved and tracking of progress and achievements.

(2) Group Pencil In – There will be a new Pencil In type (e.g Maintenance, Regular) which will distinguish for a Group Pencil In

(3) Home Page Additions –  The Home page will provide quick links to the Training Video archive, Documentation Archive, Gazette and any Featured News

(4)  Warning List on comments-  This will allows users to determine on a reservation if there is a warning list comment associated with the client

(5) Contact for an Account Receivable – Users will be able to enter the contact person for any AR account created.

(6)  AR revenue in the Revenue Statistic panel – The revenue from Reservation Product sales done in the AR of a client will be added to the calculations in the Revenue Statistics panel

(7)  Save Quotes – Users will be able save quotations for packages which will be a combination of reservations and products, thus speeding up the process of applying packages to customers.

(8) Google Maps –  The capability of using the Google map engine to check availability and make reservations based on the geographical location on the map.

(9) Recur Pay additions –  This will allow users to create reoccurring payment policies to charge a customer’s stored tokenized credit card
